Parts from suppliers in Germany and Romania had to reach the Bursa production line in sequence. When border crossing, warehouse sequence and the dock window were tracked separately, gaps opened on the line.

LTL shipments built up in the warehouse while the milk-run plan was not updated; waiting at the border gate missed the dock hour.

The weekly line calendar, supplier departure times and border crossing windows were placed on one operations plan. The warehouse was positioned as a sequencing layer, not an LTL merge point.

Capacity, route and delivery window locked in one language. The plan could update without losing part identity.

FTL lanes went direct to the border; LTL cargo was sequenced at the Istanbul transfer warehouse. The milk-run tied warehouse exit and plant dock in one window.

The mode did not change; a warehouse leg was added to the same shipment. The road lane is the plan that reaches the field.

Coordination

The border gate is part of the route.

Carrier, customs and warehouse teams moved in one operational language. The border crossing was not a separate office job; it was a visible step on the route.

At exception — delay, missing paperwork or capacity change — the plan updated and the line calendar was read again.
