Material is not a surface
Local material is one of the most direct relationships a hotel can keep with its geography. At KORU this relationship is not used to produce an identity, but to keep the character of the place.
A contemporary stance, a local ground
Contemporary architecture does not have to sit as a layer on top of a local ground. The right scale and quiet detail allow the two languages to stand together.
