FAQ

common questions

Before we visit the room

  • Yes. Services, beams and the way the light falls decide the plan. We measure first, then draw — a catalogue layout is not a brief.

  • Most homes are four to eight weeks from a signed drawing to a working kitchen. Listed work and stone lead times can add a little. We will give you a date once the plan is settled.

  • We can. Extract, steel and stone have to land without a scar on the ceiling. We dry-fit in the workshop and keep the house without a kitchen for as few days as we can.

  • Modular carcasses are how we work — they move if the family does. Fronts, stone and hardware are made for the room. We also renovate an existing kitchen when the layout is still right.

  • We strip the run, protect the floors and take what can be reused or recycled. If a piece still works, we will say so rather than replace it.

  • Book a visit or send a note with photographs of the room. We will come, measure and tell you whether an island, a galley or a pantry wall belongs there before anyone orders stone.
