ReadYou sent the message... Then you read it again. You read it once more. You analyzed why the other side sent a "👍". Does it sound familiar?

You put the phone on the table.
10 seconds passed.
You picked it up again.
"Did I write too short?"
"Was it a bit cold?"
Then you read the message for the third time and even questioned the punctuation.

You are not alone. 🙂
When the other side doesn't respond, our brain sometimes starts creating scenarios.
Are they mad at me?
Did I say something wrong?
Did they leave me on read?
Did they drop their phone?
Or were they abducted by aliens?

Not every thought is real.
Sometimes it's just a thought.
And most of the time, it's not as dramatic as we think.
A large part of our lives can pass by thinking about scenarios that never happen.
Next time your mind starts shooting a new film, ask yourself a little question:
"Do I have any evidence that this is really happening?"
Most of the time, the answer will surprise you.
