Coastal Residences is a low-density premium residential development within Bodrum's coastal setting. Through sea views, terraced living, and a locally rooted material language, the project offers a contemporary reading of Aegean architecture.
As a completed project, it stands as a built expression of MEROVA's residential development discipline.

Location & context
The Bodrum peninsula is defined by its topography overlooking the Aegean Sea and its distinctive coastal settlement character. Coastal Residences translates view, wind, and solar orientation into project decisions.
The site was planned in alignment with the scale of the existing coastal settlement fabric.
Architecture & planning
Residential units are set into the topography through a terraced massing organisation. Each home is positioned to optimise its relationship with sea views and private outdoor space.
A low-density strategy supports the preservation of coastal landscape and visual privacy between units.
Landscape & coastal context
The landscape reflects Aegean character through local planting and terracotta tones. Shared walkways and terrace gardens maintain green continuity between units.
Proximity to the shoreline meant wind and salt-air conditions were integral to the landscape design.
Materials & spatial character
Whitewashed render, natural stone, and timber detailing form the project's material palette. Material choices offer a contemporary interpretation of Bodrum's traditional architectural character.
Exterior materials were specified for resistance to the Aegean climate's UV exposure and humidity.
