Architecture at Metria begins with the site. Form follows constraint — orientation, structure, material and the life the building has to hold.
We work from first conversation to built form. A typical commission starts with a measured survey, a brief that names what must happen in the rooms, and a set of constraints that we treat as the beginning of the design rather than as obstacles to it.
Drawings stay close to construction. Structure is decided early, so the plan is not decorated after the frame is fixed. Materials are specified for how they will weather, not for a photograph on opening day.
We do not offer a catalogue of styles. A house in Bodrum and a han in Ulus share a method — site, programme, material — not a look. Where we cannot stay close to the site through construction, we do not take the work.
