Drive and control builders see the cover by pressing it to the body. If pocket and thread split across scattered stations, the seal leaks.

Electronic enclosures look like clean lab parts; the job is still closed by fixturing and dimension. If cooling fin, seal groove, and threaded connection do not sit on the same datum, the cover will not seat on the body.
The first part does not open serial until it is seen in assembly. Prototype here is not a mock-up; it is validation in serial aluminum. Milling, prototype, and serial run in the same language.
