Energy equipment builders test the seal plane in the field. Unwritten roughness and angled port loss return as leakage.

Industry
Parts on energy lines look clean; the condition is not shop-floor grease language. On stainless and alloy steel, seal face, thread, and port are written to the same delivery note.
If angled ports split into separate setups, sealing stays on the drawing. Repeat orders must be copies of the first approved fitting. That is why turning, 5-axis, and serial speak on the same card.

Application area

Thread, seal seat, and diameter on the same turning reference.
Fitting on turning
Angled port closes on 5-axis without re-clamping.
Port on 5-axisServices
On fittings, nipples, and rotational seal bodies, thread and seal seat close in the same chuck. Tool marks on stainless are written to the delivery note.
Turning serviceMulti-angle ports and angled seal planes machined in a single setup. The goal is not to showcase the machine; it is not to lose leakage geometry.
5-axis serviceOnce the approved fitting card is locked, the batch grows. Chuck and program version do not change on repeat orders.
Serial processCapability
Material locked from the start on connection and sealing elements.
Seal seat does not leak in the field with unwritten Ra.
Threads sequenced so they do not distort diameter; control logged to documentation.
In-process measurement at every tool change ties to the delivery window.
Example

Stainless fitting machined on a locked card after prototype approval. Turning station closed diameter and thread. On repeat order, labeling and measurement record closed in the same language.

Angled ports opened on 5-axis in a single reference. Seal face measured as a separate delivery condition; roughness written to documentation.
If material, seal face, and port angle are clear, we lock turning or 5-axis production from the start.
