Hygienic food hall with a stainless filling and capping line

Industries / Hygiene

The hygiene rule
belongs to the sequence.

A stop must speak to the cleaning window.

Need

A locked recipe usually means the line is unreadable.

Food problems often arrive as “a software update.” The real break is a stop that fights hygiene.

  1. 01

    Alarm rain

Every signal goes red. The operator cannot tell a real stop from a cleaning stop.

  2. 02

    The batch is cut off

Traceability lives in a separate report. Filling and capping run with no knowledge of the record.

  3. 03

Sequence does not override hygiene — it is overridden

If reset ignores the cleaning window, the line both slows down and breaks the rule.

Industry

A food line owes its tempo to the cleaning window.

In this industry the job is not finished the moment speed overrides hygiene. If reset, recipe, and batch record are not written in the same language, the night shift hunts the stop on the line.

SENKRA does not build a food line by lining up conveyors. Sequence, alarm, and traceability have to speak to the hygiene rule. A new line and an ageing SCADA are both read on site first.

Services

Four services that sit on the hygiene rhythm.

Not every service belongs on food. The ones that do must speak to cleaning and the batch.

All services
  1. 02 / Flow

    Line Automation

Filling, weighing, and capping sequence — written as a flow that ties a stop to the cleaning window.

    Read the line flow together
  2. 03 / Control

    PLC & SCADA

Recipe, alarm hierarchy, and batch record sit in the same tag dictionary. The screen belongs to the night shift.

    Review the control architecture
  3. 04 / Decision

    Machine Vision

Level, label, and surface decisions are measured at line speed, in a hygienic station. A camera is not a system on its own.

    Talk through the vision station
  4. 05 / Update

    Retrofit

Without stripping the existing stainless line, we make the control and SCADA layer readable in stages.

Capability

Hygiene, record, and decision in one dictionary.

Capability is not a stainless bill of materials. It is finding the stop reason on the line.

  1. RC

    Recipe and authority

A product change does not hunt for the person who wrote it. Parameter and authority sit on the HMI, in the language of the shift.

  2. PT

    Batch record

Filling, stop, and traceability are not cut away from the control layer.

  3. HJ

    Hygiene interlock

The cleaning window is part of the reset sequence, not a stranger to it.

  4. KR

    Line decision

A label, level, or surface reject is an interlock the PLC already knows.

Application

Recipe and record lock on the line.

Ordered PLC layer in a food-line control cabinet

Application · Monitoring

SCADA layer renewed in place

Challenge · Old screens, scattered alarms, a cut-off report. The night shift was hunting the stop reason on the line.

Solution · The new SCADA was read from the existing PLC dictionary. Alarms were thinned; the shift record was tied to the control layer.

Bottles aligned under stainless filling heads

Application · Filling

Filling and capping sequence

Challenge · Stations were running; after cleaning the line was being rediscovered. Reset was overriding the hygiene rule.

Solution · Sequence, interlock, and cleaning window were written as one flow. A recipe change now changes with the line.

Why

We hold a food line for the shift, not for the showcase.

People do not come to us for a polished SCADA picture. They come for the place where the batch record still sits on the line.

  1. Hygiene is not assumed

The sequence is not drawn until the cleaning window has been read on site.

  2. The record is not dressed on afterwards

OEE and traceability are not a tool cut off from the PLC language.

Projects

Work tied to this rhythm.

The control layer is renewed; the sequence speaks to hygiene.
